Are You Unprofitable?

The story of the unprofitable servant in Matt 25:24-30 has always been used to illustrate the need to be profitable with our talent and endowments to serve the Lord and His kingdom. However, it is instructive to note that the literal example that Jesus used to illustrate this had to do with profitable investment of money! As a matter of fact, the unprofitable servant was called wicked because he didn't do the minimum expected of investing the money in the bank! The other profitable servants were commended because they traded (did business) with the money and multiplied it!!
If all you do is collect your salary and you have not learned the act of business to multiply your money nor have you learned the act of investing for similar reasons, it may be because you are inherently selfish and it is a mark of wickedness according to Jesus' parable!!! It will serve you well to educate yourself in business and investing and start taking the right actions.
To your success.
