It finally kicked off!It was like dream come true and I remembered the biblical injunction that says dispise not the days of little beginning.
For a while I have been nursing the idea of holding seminars to educate people on a wide range of interest to me.When I say that you may not know how varied and diverse these interests may be.Let me expatiate.
My primary interest as you may guess is Medicine.I made the decision to become a doctor at a time that I can not even remember.May be primary 2 or 3 or even in primary 1.You will identify with this if you live in Nigeria or any other developing African countries.Once a child shows a form of brilliance, all including parents and teachers, siblings and friends alike will start callinh him doctor or lawyer as the case may be.This easily swades such a young mind to start dreaming of life as a doctor or lawyer, a life he really does not have the faintest idea of what it entails.
So I was channeled to this line naturally and I made the expectations of people around me to be my own and went on to become a doctor passing through a protracted training period at the Obafemi Awolowo University. Well, the good thing was that I found a fascination with the mind right from pre-clinical school in Behavioural Sciences and then was re-inforced in Psychiatry in the Clinical school.
I therefore have this passion to be an advocate of sort and the bring knowledge of common mental illnesses to the populace as there is a great derth in this area. This made me start my first blog (which I have imported into this one) in which I was writing on mysteries in the mind.
Moreover, the knowledge of psychology which is to psychiatry what physiology is to medicine has made me create a line of interest that include speaking in seminars and workshops on the area of stress and stress management, organising peak performance seminars and workshops for school children and teachers, personal development seminars and workshops etc.I have been able to inspire greattness in some children's heart along the way.So, mentoring, leadership, consulting, public speaking, motivational speaking or whatever you may call it!
There is however another fascination of mine which I discovered in school as well. That is browsing and surfing the internet. I have been on the net for almost 24hrs once just moving from one site to the other on different areas, including in particular chating and home business ideas.
My fascination for home business started during the compulsory youth service in Calabar after reading the book 'Rich Dad's Guide to Investing'. In that book Robert Kiyosaki told of how the rich dad advised him to get a job with Ranx xerox because he will horn his marketing skills there. According to him, marketing is the most important skill you must learn as every body lives by selling something. Robert also went on to recomment network marketing as one of the best form of marketing he has come to know and appreciate.
With all the foregoing, I decided to put all these passions of mine into a tangible form by bringing all of them into one umbrella of Netwealth Consult. So, Netwealth Consult deals with Health Seminars and workshops, Stress and Stress management seminars and workshops, personal development programmes, peak performance programmes and Wealth and e-business programmes and seminars. It has not been easy getting all these ideas across especially on the Plateau where such has not yet found wide acceptance.
So the Jos free Mini-Seminar explosion is the beginning of the conceptualisation of these dreams into reality. The first edition was a success and the attendees all showed a lot of excitement at the abundant potentials of the programme that we are currently marketing to them.In fact 3 of the attendees signed up immediately and are now on there way to financial independence. So as the saying goes "despise not the days of little beginning" These are the days of little beginning on the Plateau and in Netwealth Consult but with persistence we are going to turn Plateau State into a hub of different business concerns and business information arena comparable to what obtains in Lagos.
